Hell Funkin Yeah – New Krafty Kuts mix
Krafty Kuts is one seriously fresh mo fo… After seeing him live a couple of times, I feel I’m qualified to let you know that this shit will have you hugging the ceiling in no time. He’s dropped a (mostly) fresh new blend on his Soundcloud page, but I know how lazy you can be – which is why I’m towed it here for you. With some hip hop classics mushed with break beat wickedness, sandwhiched with some funk and mixed with a soul joint or two or squeezed in to one juicy set, you’d better get a stiff drink and make some space before bumping this shizz too loudly.

Friday Music – A wicked house music set from Gonalzo AM
Happy Friday everyone!
This is a house music set from Spanish DJ Gonzalo AM that I cam across earlier this week. It’s cracker with loads of electro/proggy sounding house music to get your ass wiggling in your chair as we count down to the weekend. And it has samples from Michael Jackson and PacMan in the same mix, which is just uber friggin cool.

Drive Time – This week’s new tune
‘Drive Time’ is a new house tune that I’ve spent a few hours playing with. At this point I’m not sure whether or not it needs vocals, but if I do add any I’m leaning towards some mellow male vocals.

For the love of house
I know that I could write some really long post about how great house music is and how I fell in love with it, but frankly, I’m not in the mood for a lengthy post so I’ll let the music to the talking.

Root Note
This is a deep track I was working on for the last day or so. This version has Julie McKnight’s killer vocal from Kings of tomorrow’s “Finally” dropped on, though I’m not sure I’ll be keeping it there. The track was produced using Reason and Logic. It’s the result of about 3-4 hours of tweaking. I have no clue why I named it Root Note, but it just kinda seemed right.
